Christopher Banks has been writing, recording and producing music for the last 30 years. Between 1998 and 2002, he wrote and produced eight top 30 New Zealand hits, including three number ones, working across acts such as Deep Obsession (the first New Zealand group signed directly to Universal Music), Nicolette and pop duo Nurture. His songs reached international audiences through releases in Asia, Europe, the US and Australasia, and he co-wrote original songs for the soundtrack of the globally syndicated children's show The Saddle Club. Alongside his pop work, he spent over a decade collaborating with folk and world music artist Jyoshna, co-producing several acclaimed albums including "Magnificence" and "Dancing Divinity".
